I believe it’s small details that bring a story to life. A tarnished shoe buckle, a perfectly sculpted collar, the dirt stains on a little girl’s dress, these are my obsessions. And the elements of character building that I love to painstakingly work through with actors and directors. As a life-long reader, it is my greatest joy to take characters from the page to the screen.
